Hi everyone!

last 5th of January a small group of people interested on brazilian/portuguese culture and language met in Tallinn and we had the idea of organizing a small festival showing film, food, dance, music.

Incredible: Although unexperienced, 2 months later and after a lot of work finally this first experimental event will take place next Saturday. You are all invited to come and to enjoy this colourful evening.

Did you know that Brazil is not just only Samba, Football and Carnival?

That they are about 2 million brazilian-japanese, 5 million brazilian-germans, half a million brazilian-polish, 10 million brazilian-italians, etc.?

That there is snow in the south of Brazil and sometimes temperatures can reach -10 degrees?

You won´t have the opportunity to get all those information on Saturday, but here is what will be ofered (for detaills, open the attached Flyer or open www.hot.ee/brasiilik/festa )

at 18:00:

Brazils Honorar Consul in Estonia is scheduled to open the Festival with a short speech. Afterwards we will show a small introduction movie about Brazil with beautiful sceneries. Following this short film a brazilian movie will be shown.

at 21:00 (but you can come earlier):

At the chic Restaurant Bossa Nova (that will open just in April but will be opening on Saturday just for the Festival) you will get a brazilian national dish for 80,-/person and enjoy delicious Caipirinhas (to be payed separetly). Come soon so you can gather a place to seat!

Afterwards (beginning between 21:30 and 22:00) you can at the same Restaurant watch a Capoeira Show with the best estonian and some brazilian capoeiristas for free! (Downstairs)
